The 2026 Midterm Election, Part VII

No form of government is flawless,  Every government leftists has ever overthrown had flaws, which the radicals/anarchist/Marxist/Islamists exploited at an emotional level to generate outrage among the people, especially the young and dumb.  However, while their message may be laudable, and understandably appealing such as; "end poverty, discrimination and suffering.  Offer affordable housing, free higher education, universal health care", and ....now here's the tricky one.... "economic fairness"... , it's the outcome that matters.

 

Who doesn't want things to be "fair".  But who can define "fair"?  Who wrote the book of fair?    It's been my experience what's fair is based on who's ox is being gored. Who exactly wrote the Book of Fair? There is no Book of Fair and it can't be codified without being unfair to someone, anyone or most for that matter. Who decides what's fair? I certainly don't want some government bureaucrat in Washington DC who went to college and then to work in the government, who never had a real job, never started a business, never put his home on the line with the bank to keep that business running, never had to skip a paycheck in order to meet payroll for his employees, never had to work 14 hour days for weeks on end telling me what's fair.

 

When a totalitarian government imposes "fairness', everyone will find they will ultimately be stunningly "unfair" to a lot of people.  That's history, and that history is incontestable.   No matter what promises are made, here's what they will ultimately deliver:

 

"runaway spending, suffocating regulation, costly green-energy mandates, and open immigration policies that strain public resources — have helped create the hardships now used to justify still greater government control.  The proposed cure is more of the disease."......."The lesson is unmistakable: Charitable works, political accommodation, and reassuring alliances do not necessarily diminish an extremist movement’s ultimate ambitions, particularly when the alliance is with Islamists.  Nor does cooperation today guarantee protection tomorrow.

 

As David Horowitz has said, "Inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out".  Did it ever occur to these young demonstrators to ask why it is millions fled communist/Islamist totalitarian nations, many to America, but no one is "fleeing" America to live in those nations?

 

Totalitarians have been with us forever, and have only one moral foundation they adhere to religiously.  Do whatever it takes to get and hold power in order to control everyone's life.  If they can't get that power legitimately, they'll cheat.

 

Top congressional Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, filed suit this week alleging the administration has unlawfully pressured states to clean suspected noncitizens off their voter rolls and has leaned on local election officials to comply. Schumer called it bullying. He called it un-American. He said the voters decide elections, not Trump.  

Fine. Then let only the voters who are legally entitled to decide actually be the ones deciding. That's the entire point of a clean roll. Democratic leadership is suing to stop a process aimed at confirming that the people voting are the people legally allowed to vote, two weeks before an election. Read that sentence as many times as you need to. That's not a lawsuit defending voting rights. That's a lawsuit defending the status quo of whoever's currently on the rolls, questionable eligibility included.

That nullifies legal votes by diluting them with illegal ones. That's how a candidate can run a campaign largely from his basement, speak carelessly about black voters in ways that would have ended a Republican's career in a single news cycle, and still walk away claiming 80 million votes with a straight face.............. This cycle, from a pure narrative standpoint, should be a layup for the party out of power. Inflation fatigue, approval numbers, a president voters have spent years being told to resent.  But they're nuts. And these are difficult, genuinely concerning times to be voting in anything but full possession of the facts.

1. So San Diego says it's having trouble finding translators for all those thousands of non-English-speaking voters out there  while the U.S. Department of Justice reports that nearly a third of noncitizen voters have cast a ballot......... 
2.  1 in 3 LA Non-Citizens in ‘Sample’ Had ‘Voting History’ And may even be as high as 60%.  The thing that the media says isn’t happening? Boy, is it ever happening........
3. Watch: Pro-Katie Hobbs Canvassers Are Willing to Let Noncitizens, Felons Vote - Undercover video captured canvassers aligned with Gov. Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.) saying they don’t believe in asking about immigration status or actively encouraging self-identified noncitizens and felons to register and vote. All of that, of course, is completely illegal.....
4. 6. Why Is Decoy Dan on the Run? - If retired Petersburg, Alaska teacher Daniel J. “Decoy Dan” Sullivan truly wants to represent Alaska in the Senate, he’s not doing a very good job campaigning for the job. His official position statement, as provided to the state’s Division of Elections, reads in part, “I will not stand by while professional politicians try to rig the system,” yet campaign finance records show he’s spent nothing actively campaigning, and nearly all of his campaign contributions have gone to a Washington, D.C. law firm........
7.  Evidence Suggests Alaska’s ‘Decoy Dan’ Illegally Colluded With Democrat Dark-Money Group -Americans for Public Trust outlined in a Federal Election Commission complaint how “Decoy Dan,” a purported spoiler candidate with the same name as Alaska’s incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan, may have violated federal election laws by coordinating with a dark money group. Recent reporting by The New York Times alleges that Democrat candidate Mary Pelota’s campaign and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee actively recruited candidates to confuse voters and manipulate Alaska’s U.S. Senate race............ 

If they can't take power by cheating, they use violence.

3. The DSA Is Planning to Import Europe’s Riots and Burn the Republic Down - France is on fire. Cars torched, city halls ablaze, hundreds of police officers injured, businesses looted, and the media still calls it “student protests.” It is nothing of the sort. It is a calculated campaign by organized, well-financed hard-left networks to sow anarchy across Western civilization.  And according to Issues & Insights, the Democratic Socialists of America already have the playbook to bring the same chaos here.......

Tomorrow's election day, and the violence the DSA was planning hasn't occurred, but the planning did occur with this goal:

 

The goal is sustained mass violence and street clashes designed to push President Donald Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act. Once invoked, Democratic governors and progressive organizations would treat the order itself as evidence of “fascism” and a reason to undermine federal authority....

 

I have no doubt violence will erupt after the election if the left fails to take control of either house of the Congress.  The DSA is deceiving, sinister, and abominable, and have no intention of giving up if they lose, and they'll immediately start working on the 2028 election.  So, what happens if the Democrats take over both houses of Congress and then the Presidency in 2028?   

 

"They will make Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico states, expand the Supreme Court, open borders..... blank amnesty".....Medicare for all, which will be a disaster, taxes will be increased, and while Democrats claim they only want to tax the rich, make no mistake, once Wealth Taxes in put in place it won't be only for billionaires, it will ultimately include anyone with investments.. and...hand them "permanent one-party rule.” 

 

Here was Victor Davis Hanson's view of this midterm three weeks ago saying:  

 

Rarely in American history have the two parties been so far apart or the choice between them so stark. In brief, Islamist-sympathizing socialism is on the ballot against free-market capitalism and American exceptionalism......

 

If they win here's what he thinks will happen:

1. The House they'll spend two years impeaching Trump, investigating and hounding his family and supporters.
2. They will block any legislation they don't approve of.
3. They will attempt to appease Iran and except their promise they won't be bad little boys any longer.
4. The price of energy will soar because they have to stop global warming.
5. Allow unbridled immigration.
6. Prevent anyone from ending fraud to social services that's costing the nation billions of dollars. 
7. Impose DEI on government and private enterprise, with "the idea that race, outward appearance, gender, and sexual preference are essential rather than incidental to one’s identity is a central doctrine of the contemporary Left. Race-based hiring, admissions, dorms, and graduations would return and proliferate."
8. Reparations will gain traction.  
9. Islamic efforts to impose Sharia law will have greater impact on America's laws and culture.   
10. Regulations will proliferate. 

If this happens government will grow and bureaucrats will once again unconstitutionally usurp legislative and executive powers.  But not all may be well in the Democrat party, as this author asks: Will anti-socialist Democrats swing the midterms?, noting "there’s a hidden demographic on the left that many polls possibly are not accounting for."  NBC News data analyst has some bad news for Dems in Minnesota.

Vote centers are closing over supposed power issues, a fire alarm got pulled at a site in heavily Republican Mesa, voters are being told during ballot curing that ballots were cast they didn’t know about, and we’re still dealing with the same late-night activity at the tabulation center.”.......
